The format scales with the final team count while keeping the organizer’s core idea intact: Pool A produces one finalist, Pool B produces the other, and every pool’s bottom two teams get a play-in before placement games keep the full field active.

The organizing principle

Advantage follows pool placement.

Each pool independently feeds one side of the Championship Bracket. Higher-ranked teams receive byes or fewer games; the lowest two teams always have a play-in opportunity.

How to read the bracketA play-in loser leaves the Championship path and continues in Placement / Classification games. No team leaves the tournament based only on pool standings.
